Terms & Conditions

By booking a tour or cruise with Mekong Charm Cruise & Travel, you agree to the terms below.

1. Booking & Confirmation

Bookings may be made online, in person, or through our authorized agents. A deposit or full payment is required to confirm your reservation. A booking is confirmed only after written acknowledgment from our team. Full payment is due before the tour or cruise begins, typically 7 days prior, unless we arrange otherwise.

2. Prices & Payment

Prices are quoted in EUR, USD, LAK, or THB and may change without notice because of exchange rates or government taxes. Payment may be made by bank transfer, card, cash, or another method we agree. Full payment is required before the tour starts.

3. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be sent in writing by email or an official message.

• 15 days or more before departure: full refund, minus administrative or transaction fees.
• 7–14 days before departure: 50% refund.
• Less than 7 days, or no-show: no refund.

No refund is given for unused services, or for changes asked for during the tour.

4. Changes

We may change an itinerary for weather, road closures, safety, or other circumstances we cannot control. If we cancel a service, we offer a full refund or another tour of equal value.

5. Travel Insurance

Please take out travel insurance that covers health, accidents, theft, loss, cancellation, and natural disasters. We are not responsible for medical bills, lost items, or interruptions that we did not cause.

6. Responsibility

We act as an agent for transport, accommodation, and other providers. We are not liable for delay, loss, injury, or damage caused by those providers. Travel is at your own risk. Please follow local law and the guidance of our staff.

7. Health & Safety

Tell us in advance about medical conditions, food allergies, or limits on what you can walk or paddle. Some days involve walking, hiking, or boats. We may refuse participation if safety is a concern.

8. Visas & Documents

You are responsible for a valid passport, visa, and any other document required to enter Laos and join the tour.

9. Conduct

We may remove a guest from a tour without refund if their behaviour is disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe. Please respect local culture, nature, and the village you are visiting.

10. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for cancellation or change caused by events outside our control, including natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, strikes, or transport failures. We will look for another way to run the day.

11. Privacy

We use your details only to handle the booking and to reply to you. We do not pass them to anyone else without your consent.

12. Law

These terms follow the law of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. Disputes are settled first by talking, and otherwise in the courts of Laos.
